Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: June 2025
MAT+Partners is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We fully support the elimination of all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and child labour.
While we are a design-led retail consultancy and do not operate in sectors traditionally associated with high slavery risks, we recognise that every business has a duty to ensure modern slavery does not exist in its operations or supply chains.
Our Business
MAT+Partners is a specialist creator of props, window displays and retail environments providing design and strategy services to clients across various sectors. We do not manufacture goods or operate physical retail outlets.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains primarily include:
- Freelance creative professionals
- Design and digital software providers
- Studio, printing and manufacturing partners
- Office and facilities services
We work with suppliers based predominantly in the UK and Europe, where risks of modern slavery are comparatively lower, but we remain vigilant regardless of geography.
Our Commitement
We are committed to:
- Acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships
- Implementing and enforcing systems that ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place
- Encouraging our suppliers and contractors to adopt the same high standards
Due Diligence and Risk Management
To manage the risk of modern slavery:
- We assess suppliers based on location, industry and known risk factors
- We seek to work with trusted partners who can demonstrate fair employment practices
- We review supplier relationships periodically and reserve the right to terminate those not meeting our ethical standards
Training and Awareness
While our team is small and specialised, we are raising awareness internally about modern slavery risks. Relevant staff are encouraged to stay informed through industry best practice and professional standards.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage all staff, contractors and partners to report any concerns related to modern slavery. Reports can be made in confidence to senior management.
Review
This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect changes in our business or legal obligations
